Designed by Leon Ransmeier for Mattiazzi
Mattiazzi Chiaro Chair

Mattiazzi Chiaro Chair
Simple, bright, and confident, the Chiaro Chair is an everyday stacking chair. Chiaro, which means "straightforward" or "clear" in Italian, reflects the design's modest character and the designer's distilling of the form to the essence of what a chair should be—familiar, comfortable, and beautiful. Chiaro's uncomplicated character also shows through in the chair's construction. Connections between parts are direct and efficient; the structure under the seat resulted from a need to simplify the joinery while reducing the number of parts. Available with or without armrests, the chair comes in natural waxed oak and in natural waxed ash in several color finishes.

"The only way you can create well-designed objects is by experiencing the objects yourself."
